Deviled Ham Salad Sandwich
Ingredients
- 18 basil leaves
- 8 oz diced cooked ham
- 1/3 cup diced onion
- 3 tbsp prepared horseradish
- 2/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp pickle relish
- 1/4 cup diced pear
- 1/4 cup pine nuts
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Place the diced ham into a food processor.
- Process to make a chunky puree for 3 minutes.
- Place the chunky puree in a large bowl.
- Combine diced pear, pine nuts, mayonnaise, pickle relish, garlic powder, and paprika.
- To make the sandwich, cut the sandwich thins in half.
- Add a teaspoon of horseradish spread on one side of the bread.
- Then, add a few basil leaves on the lower side of the bread.
- Add two tablespoons of ham spread and spread.
- Top with half of the bread and serve.
