- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 garlic cloves
- 470 grams medium-sized shrimp
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- Salt and pepper
- 1/4 cup parsley
- Peeled and devein the shrimp.
- Add oil and half of the butter in a heated skillet.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Then add the shrimp, season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Sauté for 2 minutes on one side until just beginning to turn pink.
- Add a splash of white wine and bring it to a quick boil for 2 minutes.
- Stir in remaining butter, lemon juice, and chopped parsley.

Tangy Shrimp Scampi: This classic recipe makes a simple garlic, white wine and butter sauce that goes well with a pile of pasta or with a chunk of crusty bread. The light flavors of lemon and herbs enhance the shrimp’s flavor. It’s deliciously saucy, perfectly rich and buttery and amazingly flavorful!
